katerina.maslova2013@gmail.comKATERINA MASLOVA I was born in Moscow, Russia in 1980. Till 1991 I spent my childhood in Vietnam, Ho-Chi-Minh City (in Soviet Embassy). From an early age till present, I was always particularly interested in drawing and all visual arts. During the school time I was lucky to attend
First Art School named after Serov in Moscow.In 2003 I received an
MBA degree in Hotel and Restaurant management, France. After some time, I realised that I have to return to creative field and decided to get a professional education in Graphic design. So I entered the
British Higher School of Art & Design, Moscow (Foundation program) and later on the
Institute of Design, Moscow. In 2011 my life changed again and I moved with my family (my husband and little son) to Austria, Vienna and finally graduated in 2014 as a Graphic designer from
Höhere graphische bundes-lehr- und versuchsanstalt Schule, Vienna.Since then I was working as a freelance graphic designer... As of 2019 I became a member of
TEDx Vienna creative team.
Starting from 2017 till present I attend a painting courses at
ARTyouLOVE studio with the guidance of talented graduate of Repin Academic Institute of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg -
Dinara Hörtnagel and participate in intensive master classes of
Sabit Nurimov, both Members of Russian Union of Artists. Feeling the constant need for self-expression, I keep experimenting with new drawing techniques & colors, to develop my artistic skills.
In 2019 I took part in a great
group exhibition ART you LOVE at Steiner Gallery, Vienna (I was both an artist and a designer there).
For 2020 I have ambitious plans for new exhibitions such as
a group Show at Sberbank, Vienna and
Art residency Arist Camp and exhibition by Ari Kupsus Gallery, Hungary.
